Gaffney Man Sentenced on Gun Charges

United States Attorney William N. Nettles stated today that Eric Michael Shoemaker, age 48, of Gaffney, South Carolina, was sentenced June 16, 2010 in federal court in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 922. United States District Judge Henry F. Floyd of Spartanburg sentenced Shoemaker to 24 months in federal prison. More »

Glendale Man Sentenced in $3 Million Cigarette Smuggling Conspiracy

The United States Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, George E.B. Holding, announced today that United States District Judge George H. King sentenced AVEDIS DJEREDJIAN, 41, of Glendale, California, to 87 months’ imprisonment followed by three years supervised release. The Court also ordered that DJEREDJIAN pay restitution in the amount of $3,236,617.50. Forfeiture in the same amount as restitution was also ordered. More »
