The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), today announced the arrest of a La Mesa man for illegally purchasing firearms and ammunition in Arizona and transporting them into California. David F. Morgan, 55, was arrested after agents discovered he had been illegally trafficking numerous firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition. More »

Rollin’ 30s Gang Member Sentenced To 20 years For Firearms And Crack Cocaine Possession

A U.S. District Court Judge sentenced 30 year old Anthony Washington, a Rollin’ 30s Harlem Crip gang member to 240 months in federal prison and eight years supervised release today for firearms and drug violations. Washington was convicted after a three day trial in January of being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. 27 Members, Associates of the 18th Street Gang Arrested on Firearms, Drug and Immigration Charges

Federal, state and local law enforcement officers arrested 27 members and associates of the 18th Street Gang early today.
