Help keep our nation’s capital safe while working alongside federal, state, and local partners.
Applicants are required to pass several assessments, including an interview, a physical fitness test, a written exam, a polygraph examination, and medical/drug tests. New agents will start their journey by undergoing federal criminal investigator training for 12 weeks, followed by 15 weeks of special agent training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Georgia. After completing this training, they will begin working to combat violent crime.
