ATF Offers $5,000 Reward for Gun Store Burglary
20 Firearms Stolen from Licensed Dealer
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC — Zebedee T. Graham, Special Agent in Charge of the Charlotte Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the burglary of the Yard Shop at 522 Edgefield Road, Belvedere, South Carolina, a federally licensed firearms dealer.
On November 4, 2009, after regular business hours, some person or persons forcibly entered the gun dealers business and stole 20 firearms, mostly handguns.
The burglary of the gun store is being investigated by the ATF RAGE Unit (Regional Anti-Gang Enforcement) in Aiken County that consists of ATF, the Aiken Department of Public Safety, the North Augusta Department of Public Safety and the Aiken Sheriff’s Office.
