Elkhart Man Sentenced to 14 Years Imprisonment

South Bend, Indiana – The United States Attorney's Office announced:

Erik Solano, 23, of Elkhart, Indiana, was sentenced by Judge Jon DeGuilio to 168 months imprisonment and 3 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to the felony offense of distribution of cocaine and conspiracy. Solano admitted in his plea agreement that he distributed powder cocaine in 2009 in Elkhart County on two occasions, and that he conspired with others to distribute marijuana and cocaine on numerous occasions in 2010. This case was the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Donald Schmid.
