Pasco County Man Senteced to 31 Years in Federal Prison
Tampa, Florida — U.S. Attorney Robert E. O’Neill announces that U.S. District Judge Steven Merryday today sentenced Michael Allen Lind (48, Port Richey) to 31 years in federal prison for two counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and two counts of using a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Lind pled guilty on August 26, 2011.
According to court documents, Lind sold cocaine base and firearms to an undercover Pasco County Sheriff’s Office detective on several occasions. Lind has an extensive criminal history.
This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Walter E. Furr, III.
