ATF SAC Recipient of 2012 Women of Distinction Award From Philadelphia Business Journal
WASHINGTON – The Philadelphia Business Journal announced today that Special Agent in Charge Sheree Mixell, Philadelphia Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has been honored as a 2012 Women of Distinction award recipient. The award recognizes the region‘s most dynamic women.
While I‘m humbled by this recognition today, I would not be receiving this honor if it were not for the dedicated men and women of the ATF Philadelphia Field Division, who are committed to fighting violent crime and making our communities safer in the Philadelphia region, said Mixell.
Philadelphia Business Journal is thrilled to honor the women who are true role models in our region in professional achievement and in community service, said Craig Ey, editor of Philadelphia Business Journal.
Mixell is one of 31 women selected for the prestigious award. This year the panel of judges culled through nearly 300 nominations to select 31 women for their outstanding professional accomplishments and influence in their communities.
The Philadelphia Business Journal, the leading media company for business news, produces the Women of Distinction Awards.
As an award recipient, Mixell was profiled in a special print supplement in the Philadelphia Business Journal Nov. 23.
