ATF Offers Reward for Gun Store Burglary
At Least 10 Firearms Stolen From Licensed Firearms Dealer
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC — Wayne L. Dixie, Special Agent in Charge of the Charlotte Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has announced a reward of up to $5000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the burglary and firearms thefts from the Guns and Gold Trading Post, a federally licensed firearms dealer in North Charleston, South Carolina.
On November 1, 2012, three persons crashed a motor vehicle into the front of the Guns and Gold Trading Post, 8983 University Blvd., North Charleston, South Carolina, and stole at least ten firearms from the business.
This burglary and firearms theft is being investigated by ATF and the North Charleston Police Department.
