ATF Offers $2,500 Reward in Gun Store Theft
Investigators Seek Information on Burglary and Theft from Michigan Gun Store
Detroit – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) today announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the burglary and theft of multiple firearms and firearm silencers on May 8 from Schupbach’s Sporting Goods located at 141 W. Pearl Street, Jackson, Mich.
On May 8, sometime around 4:30 p.m., an unknown individual entered Schupbach’s Sporting Goods and concealed himself inside. After the business closed around 8 p.m., the unknown individual came out of hiding and stole multiple firearms and firearm silencers or “suppressors.”
The subject is believed to be a white male, with a stocky build, brown colored collar-length hair that covers his ears. He was wearing a long, dark colored shirt, dark colored cargo pants, a dark colored watch on his left wrist, and light colored shoes or boots.
