Oklahoma Man Sentenced To 168 Months Imprisonment
MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA — The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, announced that MARION LADON ANTWINE, age 33, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma was sentenced to 168 months imprisonment, followed by 5 years of supervised release for Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and Distribute Controlled Substances, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Section 846.
Charges arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Violent Crime Task Force, which includes; Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department, District 27 District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, the Tahlequah Police Department and the Muskogee Police Department. The defendant was indicted in April, 2011 and pled guilty in August, 2012.
The Indictment alleged that beginning in or about June 2010, and continuing until on or about April, 2012, within the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the defendant, did willfully and knowingly combine, conspire, confederate and agree together, and with others to knowingly and intentionally distribute and possess with intent to distribute 280 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine base, also known as “crack” cocaine, a Schedule II Controlled Substance.
The Honorable Ronald A. White, District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Muskogee, presided over the hearing. The defendant will remain in the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending transportation to the designated federal prison at which he will serve his nonparolable sentence.
