ATF Offers Up To $5,000 Reward in Marshfield Pipe Bomb Investigation

BOSTON - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Special Agent in Charge Daniel J. Kumor announced today a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the manufacture or possession of the pipe bomb recovered at 283 Ocean Street in Marshfield on April 27, 2014. Additionally, the Massachusetts Arson Watch Program is offering a reward of up to $5,000.

Investigators from Marshfield Police and Fire Departments, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and ATF are assigned to the case.

“ATF’s immediate concern is public safety. We are confident the public can assist in providing critical information which will ultimately result in arrests,” said Kumor.
