K-9 Mojo started his training with the Puppy Behind Bars organization. He was trained by ATF and is an Explosives Detection Canine (EDC). His job is to assist ATF agents and other law enforcement officers in locating explosives and firearms-related evidence. One week after graduation, Mojo had a post-blast recovery involving a device detonation at a police station. After several days of rain, Mojo was still able to locate the remaining device components and the origin of detonation.

During a recent ATF enhanced enforcement initiative in Camden, N.J., Mojo responded to shots fired calls and other law enforcement incidents involving firearms. He has conducted dozens of searches for community guns, had three gun finds, and located shell casing evidence. Mojo was so successful that he was sent to Trenton, N.J., to conduct similar searches.
