Baltimore Armed Career Criminal Exiled To 15 Years In Prison For Illegal Possession Of A Gun

Baltimore, Maryland – U.S. District Judge William D. Quarles, Jr. sentenced Daniel Taylor, age 45, of Baltimore, Maryland, today to 15 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Judge Quarles found that Taylor was an armed career criminal based on three previous convictions for first degree assault, unlawful manufacturing of drugs and possession with intent to distribute drugs.

Howard County Bloods Gang Member Exiled To Over 17 Years in Prison for Racketeering Conspiracy, Robbery and Gun Offenses

Baltimore, Maryland – U.S. District Judge George L. Russell III sentenced Michael Dominique Johnson, a/k/a "Ace", age 20, of Columbia, Maryland to 205 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for conspiring to participate in a racketeering conspiracy, conspiring to commit robbery and using a gun during a crime of violence. The sentence resulted from the consolidation of two federal cases in which Johnson pleaded guilty.

26 Indicted on Racketeering and Drug Charges Related to Violence and Drug Dealing in the Cherry Hill Area of Baltimore

Baltimore, Maryland - A federal grand jury has indicted 21 individuals in two separate indictments on racketeering conspiracy and drug charges related to their alleged drug dealing and violence in the Cherry Hill section of Baltimore.  In a third indictment, an additional five defendants are charged in a drug conspiracy in the same area.  The indictments were returned on December 4, and December 11, 2013, and unsealed today upon the arrest of 11 defendants.  Nine of the defendants were already detained on state charges.

Four-Time Baltimore Felon Exiled to 15 Years in Prison for Illegal Possession of a Gun

Baltimore, Maryland – U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Blake sentenced Kentwan Russell, age 37, of Baltimore, Maryland, today to 15 years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Judge Blake enhanced Russell’s sentence upon finding that Russell is an armed career criminal based on three previous drug convictions. Russell has been detained since his arrest on federal charges on September 15, 2011.

Judge Quarles enhanced Bassett's sentence upon finding that he is an armed career criminal based on six previous drug convictions.
