$10,000 Reward for Information related to Wisconsin Dells fire
VILLAGE OF LAKE DELTON, Wisconsin — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and its partners have determined the Wilderness Resort employee dormitory fire to be an arson. ATF and the Wisconsin Arson Insurance Council are now offering a total reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
The ATF National Response Team has processed the scene. Now, investigators are looking to the public to provide any additional details that could aid in the investigation.
Those with information can dial 1-888-ATF-FIRE, email ATFTips@atf.gov or submit an anonymous tip through the ReportIt app. When reporting, be sure to include as many details as possible and contact information for potential follow up (optional).
Wisconsin Arson Insurance Council provides rewards up to $5,000 based on whether the information provided leads to the identification of the person(s) responsible for the fire. ATF is contributing the other $5,000.
The fire occurred early morning Jan. 25 at the across the road from the Wilderness Resort located at 511 East Adams Street, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. No one was injured in the fire. ATF joined the investigation Jan. 26 alongside the Delton Fire Department, Lake Delton Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Justice State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Wilderness Resort is cooperating with the investigation and is operating as usual.
Additional details cannot be provided at this time as this investigation is still ongoing.
