$11,000 reward offered for information on Spring Guns and Ammo Burglary

HOUSTON, Texas – ATF, Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, and Crime Stoppers of Houston have announced a reward up to a $11,000 for information leading to the arrest and/or charging of suspects responsible for burglarizing Spring Guns and Ammo, located at 4401 Spring Cypress Road, Spring.

Six suspects arrived at Spring Guns and Ammo in a stolen red Ford F-350 truck on April 24 at 1:52 am, while the store was closed. The suspects’ clothing covered their heads and faces, however at least one suspect was carrying a firearm. The suspects unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry into Spring Guns and Ammo and left the location.

At approximately 3:46 am, one suspect returned to the scene, and gained entry using a sledgehammer and excavating tool. The suspect entered the building, stole 14 firearms (both long guns and hand guns). A second suspect assisted in removing the firearms. The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored 4 door sedan.

Suspect #1 is described as a slim male wearing a blue hoodie, blue pants, and sandals. Suspect #2 is described as a male with a medium build, carrying a firearm. He is wearing a blue shirt, blue pants, dark gloves and had his face covered. Suspect #3 is described as a male with a medium build, wearing a white/black jacket, dark pants, and a red bandana across his face. The remaining three suspects have an unknown description.

“We will continue to pursue the suspects responsible for the illegal acquisition of firearms” said ATF Houston Field Division Special Agent in Fred Milanowski.

ATF works closely with members of the firearms industry to curb the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.
