$5,000 Reward offered for Information on Cheyenne Pawn Shop Burglary

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Cheyenne Police Department are offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects responsible for burglarizing Marv’s Other Place pawn shop at 3543 E Lincolnway.

About 15 handguns and long guns, ammunition and jewelry were stolen by an unknown number of suspects sometime late Nov. 15 or early Nov. 16.

“We hope someone knows what happened that night and will come forward before the firearms are used in future crimes,” said ATF Denver Field Division Acting Special Agent in Charge Ron Humphries. “Having these firearms in the hands of criminals is a serious safety concern for the public and law enforcement.”

Stealing firearms from a federally licensed dealer and possessing stolen firearms are federal crimes punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Anyone with any information about this crime should contact ATF at 1-800- ATF-GUNS (1-800-283-4867) or Cheyenne PD at 307-637-6578 or Silent Witness at 307-638-TIPS. People can also submit a tip through ATF’s new “reportit” app available at and at Google Play and the Apple App Store. All tips are confidential and can be anonymous.
