Arrest of Hells Angels' Motorcycle Gang Member

VACAVILLE, Calif. – Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), San Francisco Field Division Special Agent in Charge Joseph M. Riehl announced the arrest of Dennis Killough and his wife, Sarah Barham Killough.

Killough, 42, and Barham Killough, 35, of Vacaville were arrested on state charges at their home in Vacaville.  According to the criminal complaint, Killough is charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, sale of an assault weapon, being armed with a firearm during a controlled substance offense, and transportation of methamphetamine for sale; and Barham Killough is charged with possession of methamphetamine for sale, and bribery.  ATF undercover agents initiated an investigation of the criminal activities of Killough, who is a member of the Hells Angels Vallejo Chapter.  Killough sold stolen military equipment and an AR 15 rifle to undercover agents.

On this same date, a search warrant was served at the Hells Angels’ Chapter Club House in Vallejo, Calif where a handgun was seized.  A sawed off shotgun was also seized from a storage facility located in Vacaville, which was rented by Killough.

A criminal complaint is merely an allegation and is not evidence of guilt.  A defendant is entitled to a fair trial in which it will be the government’s burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.  This investigation was conducted by ATF, California Highway Patrol, Valley Division, and Vacaville Police Department.  The case is being prosecuted by Deputy Assistant Attorney Michael Vroman, Yolo County District Attorney’s Office.

ATF is the federal agency with jurisdiction for investigating firearms violations.  More information on ATF can be found at www.atf.gov.
