ATF, Firearms Industry Offer Reward of Up to $5,000 for Information in the Virginia CE Tactical Firearms Theft

SUFFOLK, Va. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, have announced a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary of Virginia CE Tactical, a federal firearms licensee (FFL) in Suffolk, Va. ATF and the NSSF are each offering a reward of up to $2,500, for a total reward of $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
On Aug. 26, 2018, at approximately 4 a.m., possibly four, unknown suspects forcibly entered CE Tactical, located in the 1200 block of Holland Road, by driving a dark colored SUV through the front doors of the business. Once inside, suspects stole 17 handguns. ATF is coordinating with the Suffolk Police Department on the investigation.
