ATF, NSSF Offering Reward up to $10,000 for Information on Firearms Theft

MOSS POINT, Miss. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) New Orleans Field Division is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary and theft of firearms from Pawn Mart, a federally firearms licensee (FFL), located at 4106 Main Street, Moss Point, MS 39563. ATF is offering the reward along with the National Sports Shooting Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, for a total reward up to $10,000.

On Jan. 23, 2018, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into, and burglarized Pawn Mart stealing multiple firearms. The suspect(s) fled in an unknown direction with the stolen firearms.

 

The ATF Gulfport Field Office is assisting the Moss Point Police Department in this investigation. Additionally, the Mississippi Coast Crimestoppers is offering up to $1,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft.

This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers. ATF works closely with members of the firearms industry to curb the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.
