Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives today announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the location, arrest and conviction of Troy Davis, aka “G-Trip” and “Trip.” Davis is believed to be in the Los Angeles area and traveling between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. He should be considered armed and dangerous. 

Davis is reportedly a high-ranking member of the Eight Trey Gangsta Crips in Los Angeles, and has a history of criminal offenses spanning coast to coast. Davis was indicted in North Carolina in late 2019 on drug and money laundering charges. He is suspected of being a main supplier of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana to the Raleigh area. The Los Angeles Police Department also has an outstanding warrant on Davis for illegal possession of a concealed firearm.
