ATF Offers Reward Up to $5,000 for Homicide Suspects

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), is announcing a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of homicide suspects Tyshawn Brown and Heath Reaves.

On April 24, 2018, Horry County Police Department (HCPD) Officers responded to Spring Street and Church Street in the Loris section of Horry County, S.C., in reference to a shooting.  Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims with gunshot wounds.  The first victim was Charles Durant Jr., who was deceased.  The second victim was Winter Parker whom was subsequently transported to a medical center to treat her gunshot wounds. 

 

The crime scene investigation identified Tyshawn Brown and Heath Reaves as the shooters.  The investigation also disclosed both men were armed and shot at the victims. The suspects were seen leaving the scene in a grey Kia van. 

 

Tyshawn Brown and Heath Reaves currently have active warrants for Murder, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime and Attempted Murder.  At this time, their location is unknown.  The suspects should be considered “armed and dangerous.” 

 

This violent crime is being investigated by ATF and the HCPD.
