ATF Offers Reward in New Salem Baptist Church Fire

ATF, MFD and TSFMO Seek Public’s Help in Memphis Church Fire

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in conjunction with the Memphis Fire Department and the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office have announced a reward for up to $ 2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible for a fire which occurred at the New Salem Baptist Church.

On September 28, 2016, a fire occurred at the New Salem Baptist Church, 2186 Hawkins Mills Road, Memphis. Security cameras in the area captured a video/picture of a person sought to be a person of interest to the fire.

Anyone with information about this crime should contact either Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-2274 (cash), State Arson hotline at (800) 762-3017 or ATF at (888) ATF-FIRE (1-888-283-3473). Information can also be sent to ATF via the mobile app www.reportit.com by using the Nashville field division as the location.
