ATF offers reward for theft of blasting agent explosives

ATF seeks public’s help in explosives theft from Bizzack Construction Company

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) today announced a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of blasting agent explosives from Bizzack Construction Company, a federal explosives licensee. 

 

Bizzack Construction Company, located at 3009 Atkinson Ave., Lexington, KY, is overseeing the RT 35 Road Project in Frazier’s Bottom, W. Va.  One of the trailers at the construction site was broken into and explosives were stolen.  The theft occurred sometime between Friday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 23, 2018.  The product that was stolen is described as wet bags of Orica Fortel Plus.
