Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

CLEVELAND — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is announcing a reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of eight year old MiKayla Pickett on Friday, August 14. In addition, an unnamed juvenile was injured during the shooting.

At approximately 11:45 p.m. on August 14, unknown suspects shot at a private residence on the 700 block of Roselle Avenue in Akron, OH where a birthday party was being held.  MiKayla was shot and killed, and an unnamed juvenile was injured.  ATF is investigating this incident with the Akron Police Department.
