Reward Offered for Information re: Falls City ATM

Falls City, Texas – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Karnes County Sherriff’s Office (KCSO), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), are seeking the public’s help. Karnes City Crime Stoppers has announced a reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for attempting to use an explosive device to access an ATM at Falls City National Bank, located at 100 Front Street, Falls City.

 

On January 8, 2018, at approximately 3:00 a.m., an unidentified male approached the bank and attached what was later determined to be a plastic container containing a suspected binary explosive material to the drive-up ATM.

 

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9-6’2”, with a slim build, and wearing blue jeans, gloves, brown boots, a brown/green jacket, a black winter cap, and a black cold weather mask.
