WAUSAU Woman Sentenced for Distributing Methamphetamine

MADISON, WIS. -- John W. Vaudreuil, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Sandra J. Timm, 44, Wausau, Wis., was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Lynn S. Adelman to 22 months in federal prison for distribution of methamphetamine. Timm pleaded guilty to this charge on October 3, 2013.

During the investigation a confidential informant made two buys of methamphetamine from Timm at her residence in Wausau. On March 21, 2013, law enforcement agents executed a search warrant at Timm’s residence and recovered 25 grams of methamphetamine.

The charge against Timm was the result of an investigation conducted by the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, Wausau Police Department, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney David J. Reinhard.
