ATF Celebrates Women’s History Month: Marcella Sampson

Marcella Sampson portraitMarcella Sampson works as a Program Analyst in the Leasing Section of ATF’s Facilities Management Branch and oversees the annual budget.

She is inspired by friend Freddi Brown, who specializes in helping individuals learn sustained development skills and strategies. Sampson is a breast cancer survivor as well as an introvert. Freddi encouraged Sampson to share her cancer survivor story to help motivate others.

During Women’s History Month, Sampson believes it is important to recognize women for their contributions. According to her, women trailblazers are examples of defying limits to achieve success.

Her advice to younger women: “Discover what you are passionate about and find a mentor to help with development and growth. Volunteer and give back to the community. If you can inspire the younger generation, then you’re doing something right.”
