New Executive Staff Selections for ATF
Washington, DC - ATF Director Bradley Buckles announced
today new Executive Staff selections for the following positions.
Assistant Director Mark Logan, Liaison and Public Information, will move
over to Assistant Director of Training and Professional Development. Mr.
Logan began his career with ATF as a Special Agent after serving eight
years as a Detroit Police Officer. Rising through the ranks at ATF, he
crisscrossed the country serving a myriad of positions such as Detroit
Field Division Supervisor, San Francisco Field Division Assistant Special
Agent in Charge, Charlotte Field Division Special Agent in Charge, Deputy
Assistant Director Field Operations West and Assistant Director Liaison
and Public Information, where he directed Bureau policy on media relations
and liaison programs.
Marguerite Moccia has been selected as the Assistant Director for the
Office of Science and Technology. Ms. Moccia served as the Deputy Assistant
Director/Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Office of Management and
previously served as Chief of the Financial Management Division. As the
DCFO, Ms. Moccia had been responsible for the Bureau's financial management
process, which included ATF receiving four unqualified audit opinions.
She was responsible for converting ATF's financial mainframe system to
a client server application in less than eight months. This system was
deployed nationwide, increasing the user community from 100 to 500.
Paul M. Snabel was appointed Assistant Director, Office of Field Operations,
on Jan. 27. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Snabel served as the Deputy
Assistant Director for the Office of Training and Professional Development.
Mr. Snabel began his career in 1971 as a Special Agent in Pikeville, Ky.,
serving in that position until 1976. He continued his career as an agent
in Louisville, Ky., until 1985. During his career he held such positions
as Group Supervisor, Seattle, Wash.; Special Agent in Charge for Explosives
Technology, Headquarters; Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Miami Field
Division; and Special Agent in Charge for the San Francisco Field Division.
