ATF, Olathe Police Department Offer Reward in Gun Store Theft

OLATHE Kan. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Kansas City Field Division and the Olathe Police Department today announced that ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the theft of firearms from OMB Guns and Range.

Following the report of an intrusion alarm, the Olathe Police Department responded to OMB Guns, 15765 South Keeler Street, just before 3 a.m. on April 6. Officers discovered the business had been burglarized and numerous firearms stolen from the premises.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by ATF and the Olathe Police Department. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call ATF at 1-800-ATF-GUNS (1-800-283-4867), the Olathe Police Department at 913-971-6950, or the T.I.P.S. Hotline, 816-474-TIPS.
