ATF, SFMO Announce Origin and Cause in West, Texas Fatality Fire
HOUSTON – The Houston Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office will host a news conference announcing the Origin and Cause of the West Fertilizer Plant fire and explosion that occurred on April 17, 2013, and took 15 lives, 12 of whom were fire fighters/first responders.
