ATF Offers $25,000 Reward in Interstate Firearms Theft from UPS Facility

Springfield- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced today a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of multiple firearms from a United Parcel Service freight lot in Springfield, Missouri.

Sometime between 5:30pm Saturday, October 28th and 8:30am Sunday, October 29th, unknown suspects forced entry into the UPS facility at 2545 North Lecompre Road. While in the lot, suspects forced open several trailers, removing numerous items including multiple firearms. The firearms were part of an interstate shipment and were destined for a federally licensed firearms dealer. ATF and the Springfield Police Department are investigating the incident.

ATF is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
