Mark standing in front of a natural landscapeMark is an Industry Operations Investigator in the Louisville Field Division. He has worked three years at the ATF and has an additional 21 years in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps. Mark has always been drawn to law enforcement and he was inspired to seek a military career by his grandfather who parachuted into Normandy during World War II. Prior to starting his ATF career, Mark served as a compliance manager at a major firearms manufacturing facility. As a responsible person at the firearms manufacturer, Mark was exposed to ATF compliance inspections. He initially viewed the ATF as an entity in place to make his life more difficult, but after the inspection, his views evolved. Mark noted the professionalism and purpose of the Industry Operations Investigators and saw the potential for a career change.

Mark holds a master’s degree in occupational health and safety and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration. His hobbies include fishing, local firearms competitions, and riding trails on his UTV.

Thank you, Mark, for your public service contributions and 24 years of federal service. We appreciate the unique qualities of each of our employees. It’s what makes ATF collectively better.
