Circumstances of Death

Prohibition Agent Horatio Stetson, while driving his Government car, was involved in an automobile accident near Skykomish, WA.  The accident resulted in his death.

Background

Agent Stetson joined the Prohibition Unit on November 27, 1920, and was assigned to the Seattle Field Division.  Previously, he proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Spanish-American War (1898) and was commissioned as Captain during World War I.
