ATF Offers $5,000 Reward for Information on Parma Fire

CLEVELAND – Investigators with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual(s) responsible for setting fire to St. Anthony of Padua Elementary School in Parma, Ohio. ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and successful prosecution of the individual(s) responsible for this fire. This is potentially in addition to rewards already announced by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee and Crime Stoppers.

On February 19, at approximately 10:00 a.m., maintenance personnel reported a fire in the basement of the school, located at 6800 State Road, Parma, Ohio, causing approximately $1,000,000 in damage to the building. The fire was determined to be deliberately set.

ATF is assisting the Parma Police Department and the Parma Fire Department with the investigation.
