ATF Offers Reward in Fire Investigation

Seeking Public’s Help in Multiple Fire Investigation

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has announced a reward up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for several fires in Laurinburg, NC.  

There have been several residential and commercial fires in Laurinburg, NC between March 16, 2019 and July 14, 2019.  Investigations disclosed the fires were intentionally set and to date the suspect(s) has not been identified.  

These violent crimes are being investigated by the Laurinburg Police Department (LPD), North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).     

Anyone with information about these fires is encouraged to call ATF's toll-free, 24-hour hotline at 1-888-ATF-FIRE (1-888-283-3473).  Information can also be sent to ATFTips@atf.gov, through ATF’s website at www.atf.gov/contact/atf-tips. Tips may be submitted anonymously using the ReportIt ® app or by www.reportit.com. All tips will remain anonymous.  Additionally, information may be provided to the LPD at 910-277-3216 and the SBI at 1-800-334-3000.
