ATF Offers Reward in Homicide Investigation

Seeking Public’s Help in Locating Shooter

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has announced a reward up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Keith Samuels. 

On February 16, 2019, Keith “KJ” Samuels was shot and killed in a drive by shooting that transpired in the parking lot of Idlewild Plaza, located at the corner of Margaret Wallace Road and Oak Drive in Mint Hill, N.C.  The suspects fled the scene in a four-door sedan and are considered armed and dangerous.  

This violent crime is being investigated by the ATF Violent Crime Task Force and Mint Hill Police Department.
