Recent Find

K-9 Piper and SACH Jordan recently assisted the local Memphis Police Department's Homicide Bureau. Local authorities were investigating a homicide and needed help determining the exact location where the shooting took place. They found the victim's body in the front yard next to a row of bushes at a house across the street from victim’s home. Based on initial assessments, detectives noted that there was no blood trail from his residence.

SACH Jordan gave K-9 Piper the command to begin searching for evidence at the crime scene near the victim's home. K-9 Piper searched the front yard of the residence and displayed a behavioral change to alert SACH Jordan of her discovery. She found a spent bullet in the grass of a flowerbed located at the investigation site. Memphis police detectives believe K-9 Piper found the bullet that killed the homicide victim.
