Reward Offered in Northern Kentucky Gun Store Burglary

Louisville, Ky.  — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Louisville Field Division today announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for the August 31, 2021, burglary of Goodies Pawn, a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) located at 2291 Petersburg Road in Hebron, Kentucky. 

On August 31, 2021, a white male, wearing a camouflage jacket and a backpack, entered Goodies Pawn by breaking through the glass front door of the business at approximately 11:21 p.m. The man unlawfully removed a large number of firearms before leaving the gun store on foot at approximately 11:24 p.m.

ATF Louisville Field Division is offering up to a $2,500 reward, along with up to a $2,500 reward from the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the burglary of Goodies Pawn. This total reward of $5,000 is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the ATF and NSSF in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers. NSSF is the trade association for the firearms industry. ATF works closely with members of the firearms industry to curb the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.

This crime is being investigated jointly by ATF and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
