Calvin and his handler are assigned to ATF’s Dallas Field Division - Calvin supports ATF’s mission of protecting the public and combating violent crime by assisting federal, state and local law enforcement agencies across the United States with the detection of firearms, ammunition and explosives. Calvin is certified by ATF as a Search Enhanced Evidence K-9 (S.E.E.K.) and can search for evidence off-leash while being directed by hand signals, remote tone and whistle commands.
Fun Facts: K-9 Calvin started his career as part of the Puppies Behind Bars Program, but decided a job in law enforcement was better suited for him. When Calvin is not working, he loves belly rubs, head scratches, swimming and long walks.
