Tara and her handler are assigned to ATF’s Dallas Field Division – Oklahoma City Field Office. Tara supports ATF’s mission of protecting the public and combating violent crime by assisting federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies across the United States with the detection of firearms, ammunition, and explosives. Tara is certified by ATF as a Search Enhanced Evidence K9 (SEEK) and can search for evidence off-leash while being directed by hand signals, whistles, and voice commands.
