K-9 Zeus is an ATF Search Enhanced Evidence K9 (S.E.E.K.) able to work off leash while being directed by hand signals, remote tone, and whistle commands. He supports ATF’s mission of protecting the public and combating violent crime by assisting federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies throughout the United States with detecting explosives, firearms, and ammunition. While living in New Orleans, K-9 Zeus is responsible for covering Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas, but he is happy to help wherever needed.

As a puppy, his training began with the Puppy Behind Bars foundation. K-9 Zeus’s family is very active in the ATF community as several of his littermates also became ATF explosive detection or accelerant detection K-9s, including K-9 Zeus’s classmate and sister, K-9 Maggie.

When not working, K-9 Zeus’s favorite hobbies are playing fetch and sleeping. K-9 Zeus is an easy going K-9 well suited for the Big Easy.
