Avery is a Certified Explosives Detection Canine and is trained as a Search Enhanced Evidence K-9 for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Avery’s job is to assist special agents, state, local and other federal law enforcement agencies to detect and locate explosives, firearms and shell casings. Avery was raised by the Guide Dog Foundation. When not working, Avery enjoys playing with her canine brothers and sister chickens. Avery loves to swim in her pool and take long hikes in the woods.
