K9 Kate is an ATF Explosives Detection & Search Enhanced Evidence Canine (S.E.E.K.) trained to detect 19,000 combinations of explosives. She serves the Detroit Field Division.

Kate’s primary job is to assist ATF, as well as other federal, state, and local agencies with locating explosives, firearms and spent shell casings.

K9 Kate began her service training in the “Puppies Behind Bars” program. When not working, Kate loves to be active outdoors, swim and play with her family.
