K-9 Tina is certified as an ATF Explosives Detection Canine with Search Enhanced Evidence K-9 off-leash capabilities. Tina can detect up to 19,000 explosive compounds, firearms, ammunition and spent shell casings. Tina’s job is to help ATF agents and other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies look for explosives, firearms and other explosive related evidence as part of criminal investigations and protective sweeps. Tina is assigned to the San Antonio Field Office but travels nationwide. Tina loves her job and is glad she can help solve crimes and protect the public! Tina works hard, but she also loves to play with squeaky toys, play tug, and run with her other Labrador friends at home.
