SRT K9 Rudy was born in Slovakia and acquired by ATF in 2021 when he was one year old. After months of intensive training, Rudy was certified as an SRT Tactical K9 and assigned to Special Response Team 3, based in Dallas, TX. Rudy is certified in obedience, building and area searches, tracking, tactical movement and aggression control. Rudy’s job is to protect the public by helping ATF Agents and law enforcement officials find and apprehend violent criminals. Rudy assists the ATF Special Response Teams during high-risk operations throughout the United States and its territories.
