Revision of a Currently Approved Information Collection
Purpose
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides an additional 30 days for public comment on the revision of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to the Adjunct Instructor Data Form—ATF Form 6140.3, that is used to collect the necessary personal identifiable information from non-ATF employees, in order to document and evaluate their qualifications to serve as an ATF instructor.
