The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 60 days for public comment on the revision of a currently approved collection. The proposed information collected is used to report theft or loss of inventory or collection on the Federal Firearms Licensee Firearms Inventory Theft/Loss Report – ATF Form 3310.11 to the Attorney General and other appropriate authorities.
