The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on April 6, 2018. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the extension without change of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to licenses or permits issued for a specific period of time and are renewable upon the same conditions as the original license or permit. In order to continue uninterruptedly in these activities, licenses and permits can be renewed by filling a short renewal application.
