The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on February 21, 2018. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the extension of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to respondents need to complete the eForm Access Request form in order to receive a user ID and password to obtain access to ATF’s eForm System. The information is used by the Government to verify the identity of the end users, prior to issuing passwords.
