The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on October 10, 2019. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the revision of a currently approved collection. The proposed information collection pertains to ATF F 5300.38 that is used by existing Federal firearms licensees to change the business address of the license and certify compliance. Licensee are required to notify ATF of the intent to move any business premises no later than 30 days prior to the intended move.
